Located around 6 km west of Krabi town, the Noppharat Thara Beach is one of Krabi's most famous beaches. The 3 km long stretch of soft, white sand lined up with coconut and casuarina trees comprises two beaches. The water level near Nopparat Thara Beach is so shallow that one can actually walk up to the islands during low tides. So, for those picnicking plans in the shade of coconut trees, Noppharathara Beach is an ideal tourist destination to visit. Formerly known as Klong Haeng Beach, it is divided into two parts by the Klong Haeng River and is originally a part of the Marine National Park.
